1. Resisting Arrest (1643) Lorraine Avenue and Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District

Officers responded to the listed area to assist American Medical Response with a combative patient who had assaulted the ambulance medic. Officers contacted the suspect who resisted arrest and had to be placed into a restraint device and spit net. ARRESTED: Jermaine Downing, 41, for battery on emergency personnel and resisting arrest.

2. Robbery (2019) 3200 Block of West Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District

The male victim, 35, and female victim 34, were working at an area business when they confronted the suspect who was concealing merchandise. The suspect claimed to have a gun, and then a struggle ensued. Several juveniles entered the business and assaulted the victims, prior to fleeing. No injuries were reported. SUSPECTS: Black female adult, and seven juveniles.

3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2240) 200 Block of East Bianchi Road, Valley Oak District

The male victim, 25, was in the area when the suspect assaulted him with an object. The victim sustained minor injuries, though declined medical attention. The suspect was located and arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Edwin Lopez, 27, for assault with a deadly weapon.

4. Person Shot (0102) 7900 Block of Etna Street, Bear Creek District

The male victim, 41, was in the area when he was shot by the suspect. The victim was transported to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. SUSPECT: Black male adult.

5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0210) 4500 Block of North El Dorado Street, Lakeview District

The female victim, 44, was in the area when she was in an argument with the suspect. The victim attempted to prevent the suspect from leaving, and the suspect struck the victim with the vehicle prior to fleeing. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: White female adult.

6. Carjacking (0250) Hammer Lane and Kelley Drive, Bear Creek District

The female victim, 24, was in the area when the suspect got into the victim's vehicle, brandished a handgun, and fled in the vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
