SUBJECT: Asking for the public’s assistance in solving a shooting from May 2023
LOCATION: 400 block of Redwood Avenue, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: May 7th, 2023

On May 7th at around 430 AM a shooting occurred at the 400 block of Redwood Avenue, Redwood City. An unidentified male suspect approached a group of subjects who were drinking on the sidewalk. The suspect opened fire with a 9mm handgun, striking four adult males, and one 16 year old male. All were taken to the hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The Redwood City Police Department is actively working this case. We are seeking the public’s help in solving this crime.
