Red Flag Warning until 09:00PM Saturday
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Saturday.
* AREA AND TIMING...The Red Flag Warning includes the West Central Mountains (Zone 105), West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109), Northeast Highlands (Zone 123), Middle Rio Grande Valley (106), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), and Central Highlands (125) Friday afternoon and evening and this includes the same areas Saturday afternoon and evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...West and southwest at 20 to 25 mph with occasional gusts to 35 mph, except 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 across the Northeast Highlands (Zone 123) Saturday.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 7 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
