Fremont Police Detectives are nearing the end of their investigation into the tragic murder-suicide incident which claimed the lives of two young juveniles and their mother on Monday, June 5, 2023. As such, and in cooperation with the Alameda County Coroner’s Office and the father/husband of the decedents, Fremont Police Department confirms the identity of the involved as:
- Evelin Lemus Garcia (28-year-old)
- Estefany Florian Lemus (4-year-old)
- Emiliano Florian Lemus (1-year-old)
The father/husband hopes that releasing the names of his loved ones may bring awareness to mental health and mental health services for others in need.
Fremont Police Department has received several inquiries from the community about a funding page on a web-based donation platform and its legitimacy associated with the family. Although we cannot endorse nor release the name of the platform, family members have confirmed the legitimacy of such a donation webpage.
