Apple Valley Man Arrested for Damage to a Vehicle and Outstanding Warrants

LOCATION: 20200 block of Pawhuska Rd, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Diego Gonzalez, 23-year-old male of Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): 23-year-old female of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at approximately 5:42 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a vandalism at a residence in the 20200 block of Pawhuska Road in the town of Apple Valley.
Deputy Ernesto Madrigal responded to the location and found a vehicle with broken front and rear windows and multiple dents. The owner of the vehicle reported her boyfriend, Diego Gonzalez, had jumped on her vehicle, kicked the windshield, and then broke out the rear window.
Diego Gonzalez was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for vandalism and additional bench warrants. Gonzalez is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail in this case, with additional bail amounts for each warrant.
