INCIDENT: H&S 11370.1 – Possession of Drugs While Armed
LOCATION: Central Road & Cholena Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Alex Hernandez, 43-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, Deputy Cohlton Hubbard and Deputy Alex Montanez, from Apple Valley Police Department, were patrolling the town of Apple Valley. The deputies saw a vehicle driving on Central Road and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle for traffic violations. During the vehicle stop, the driver, Alex Hernandez, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a loaded firearm.
Hernandez was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for possession of drugs while armed and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
