Vincennes man arrested on DUI charge. 
On June 15, 2023, at 12:11 a.m. Deputy U.B. Smith checked on a Grey 2023 Subaru Outback that was stopped partially in the road on Old US HWY 41 near County Road 150 South in Princeton. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith identified the driver as 66 year old Tony Cloyd of Vincennes, Indiana. While speaking with Mr. Cloyd Deputy Smith detected clues that would indicate that the driver was intoxicated. At that point Deputy Smith began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Mr. Cloyd was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He has since posted a $450 bond.
Assisting Deputy Smith in his investigation was Sheriff Bruce Vanoven.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
