The first incident occurred on Saturday, June 17th, shortly after 11 pm, in the 1800 block of N. 10th St. A group of juveniles reported that they were walking home when they were approached by four teens who stole a bike that one of the juveniles had been pushing, and that a handgun was displayed by one of the suspects.

Also, on Sunday, June 18th, shortly after 1 am, officers responded to N. 10th St. and Michigan Ave. for a report of shots fired. Investigating officers were able to confirm that a single shot was fired by an adult male who had been involved in a physical fight with other adults in the area.

These incidents are both considered isolated with no ongoing threat to the public, and no injuries were reported.
