INCIDENT: PC 287(C)(1) – Oral Copulation / PC 288 – Lewd & Lascivious Acts on a Child / PC 289 – Sexual Penetration
LOCATION: Mohave Street & Teseque Road in Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Jose Eduardo Jimenez, 54-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Deputy Kathryn Mammolito from Apple Valley Police Department was dispatched to a report of sexual assault on three juveniles.
Deputy Mammolito investigated these allegations and learned the three juveniles had been sexually assaulted on numerous occasions over several years, while living in Apple Valley. The investigation revealed the suspect, Jose Eduardo Jimenez, was known to the victims’ parent at the time of the assaults.
On June 9, 2023, a Ramey warrant was authored and obtained by Deputy Mammolito for the arrest of Jose Eduardo Jimenez. Deputies located and arrested the suspect on June 16, 2023.
Jimenez was transported to High Desert Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail for the above-listed charges.
