The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating Melanie Cercone. Cercone was last seen in Downtown Bakersfield on 06/18/2023 at approximately 4:50 a.m. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray leggings. Cercone is considered at-risk due to having a diminished mental capacity equivalent to a 14 year old. Cercone is diagnosed with a bipolar-disorder and is not familiar with the Bakersfield area.
