On June 19, 2023, at 10:06 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a call from Toyota Boshoku located at 733 West 150 South near Princeton, Indiana.  Deputy Wyatt Hunt and Jennifer Robb opened an investigation that led to the 5833 East 390 North.  Upon arriving on scene they observed in plain view items that belonged to Toyota Boshoku.  At that point Deputy Robb submitted a request for a search warrant for the residence and all outbuildings on the property.  During a search of the property 29 year old Cody Marvell of Francisco and 47 year old Charles Berry of Newburgh were located.  During the investigation several stolen items were recovered as well as illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.  At the conclusion both Marvell and Berry were transported to the Gibson County Jail. 
 
Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Berry was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines over 5 grams, Possession of Paraphernalia with a prior, Theft over $750, Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of a Schedule IV Narcotic, and Possession of Marijuana.  He remains in custody without a bond.  Mr. Marvell was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines Over 5 Grams, Possession of Paraphernalia With a Prior, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, and Possession of Marijuana.  He remains in custody on a $1250 bond.
 
Assisting Deputies Hunt and Robb in their investigation were Deputies U.B. Smith and Deputy Bart Wagner.  Also assisting was Indiana State Trooper Angermeier.
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
