* At 919 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles southeast of Abita Springs, or 12 miles northwest of Slidell, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Abita Springs around 955 PM CDT. Covington around 1000 PM CDT. This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 67 and 69.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. TAMMANY, LA
