Township of Ocean 13th Annual Independence Day Celebration June 24th, 2023 at 10:00am Location: Waretown Lake and Recreation Area Pavilion 182 Wells Mills Rd. Waretown, NJ 08758 Presented by the Township of Ocean Committee Mayor Ken Baulderstone Deputy Mayor Lydia Dodd Committeeman Ben LoParo •Color Guard: Barnegat American Legion Post 232 •Greenbriar Glee Club •The Bell Choir - United Methodist Church •Greenbriar Mens Club - Present the Flags •Guest Speaker - Adele Shaw, President and Historian of the Waretown Historical Society will read the names of the roster of Civil War Veterans buried in the Olde Cemetery on Main Street. •Ringing of the bell (in memory of the fallen) after each name is read. All are invited to visit the Little Red Schoolhouse Museum and examine Watertown’s History. Please join us for hotdogs and refreshments following taps. No Rain Date.
