Press Release: Hit and Run Traffic Accident 
On June 9, 2023, at approximately 9:30PM, Corcoran Officers were dispatched to the area of Bainum Ave. and Claire Ave. regarding a hit and run traffic accident that had just occurred. When officers arrived they located a 13 year old juvenile suffering from moderate injuries. Through investigation officers determined the 13 year old juvenile was riding a bicycle in the area when he was struck by a red compact passenger vehicle. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop after striking the victim. Corcoran Police Department is actively investigating this incident and anyone who may have information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Corcoran Police Department at (559)992-5151.
