Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury traffic crash on 6-20-23 at 2:50pm.  This crash occurred on Redfield St. and Gumwood Rd. in Cass County's Milton Township. Investigation of the crash showed that a vehicle driven by Anteneh Setegn (39 yrs of Elkhart, IN) failed to yield the right of way at this intersection. Setegn's vehicle struck a pick-up driven by Edward Albright (58yrs of Edwardsburg, MI). Setegn and Albright were not injured. Setegn's passenger, Mary Trevino (68yrs of Niles, MI) was injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital via SMACS Ambulance. Assisting on scene was the Edwardsburg Fire Dept.  The crash remains under investigation.
