FINAL UPDATE: Missing Person: Don Williams FOUND SAFE in Unincorporated Area of Cotati.

Missing person, Don Williams, has been FOUND SAFE in an unincorporated area of Cotati. He has been safely reunited with his family. A huge thank you to all partner agencies for their assistance in locating Mr. Williams: Marin Search & Rescue, Sonoma County Sheriff, Marin County Sheriff, San Mateo County Search & Rescue, CARDA Sacramento, Contra Costa Sheriff, Napa Sheriff, Marin CHP, Petaluma PD and other local agencies. We would also like to thank all our community members who shared videos and information with our dispatch centers, which assisted in locating Mr. Williams. Together we can achieve a safer Novato.
 
9AM UPDATE: 61-Year-Old Don Williams Missing Since Yesterday 6/20 at 3PM. Marin County Search & Rescue Assisting with Search for Missing Person at Risk
Last night, Marin County Search & Rescue was requested and deployed out into the community to assist with the search of 61-Year-Old Don Williams. The team searched through the night and continued operations early this morning. Marin Search & Rescue personnel will be out in our community today wearing clearly marked vests and brightly colored shirts. You may see law enforcement vehicles and personnel from Novato and from other law enforcement agencies in Novato and unincorporated areas searching to find Mr. Williams.
 
There have been a couple sightings of Mr. Williams near Indian Valley Rd around 3PM yesterday 6/20. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Don Williams, please contact the Novato Police Department at 415-897-1122.
 
We are asking residents (especially homes located northwest of Simmons Ln.) to check yards and security cameras to see if there might be footage of Mr. Williams walking by. If you find Mr. Williams, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
 
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Seeking Community Assistance in Locating Missing Elderly Man last seen near Novato Healthcare (1565 Hill Rd, Novato)
 
The Novato Police Department is seeking assistance in locating 61-year-old, Don Isaac Williams, who walked away from Novato Health Care (1565 Hill Rd Novato) around 3PM this afternoon 6/20). Williams suffers from Dementia and was last seen walking on Hill Road in the area of Novato Health Care, but there is no known direction of travel. Williams was wearing a navy blue baseball cap with an American flag (see photo), blue sweatshirt and navy colored pants. He is approximately 5'10", 165lbs (slender build), with grey buzzed hair, blue eyes, and no facial hair.
