* Until 1100 PM CDT.
* At 1030 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles north of Rotan, moving south at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to three inches in diameter. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Rotan around 1040 PM CDT. Hobbs around 1045 PM CDT. Roby around 1055 PM CDT. Longworth and Sylvester around 1100 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Busby, Capitola and Us-180 Near The Fisher-Scurry County Line.
