Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 06/22/2023 at 1132 hours, the Cass County Sheriff's Office was called to investigate a personal injury traffic crash that occurred on Beeson Street west of Cherry Grove Rd in La Grange Township, Cass County, Michigan. 64-year-old Cassopolis resident, Terry Goodger, was traveling East on Beeson Street when he struck a deer and lost control of the motorcycle in the roadway. Goodger was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. A helmet was not worn by Goodger. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, and this case remains under investigation.
