Urgent message from the Sonora Police Department. 
Please be on the lookout for Nathaniel Childress “Fishy” . He ran from an officer after being questioned. He is wanted for several warrants and is a suspect in an on going investigation for a stolen vehicle here in Sonora. He considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen at the Subway Stripes around 1am running towards E. Chestnut. He has a Bowie knife with him and is wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans. Please call 9-1-1 if you see him. DO NOT attempt to approach him.

Local Law Enforcement officials are reporting that Nathaniel Childress “Fishy” was arrested this afternoon and is currently in the Sutton County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
A local citizen recognized Childress off our Nixle alert. We thank that citizen for doing their part in making our community safer.
