In the early hours of June 24th a train derailed in Yellowstone County dumping an unknown substance into the Yellowstone River. At this time there is no impact to the Yellowstone River in Miles City or Custer County. Miles City and Custer County emergency services are aware of the incident and contingency plans are being put in place. Local Officials will keep monitoring the situation . They are working with Montana State DES and DEQ for regular updates.
