INCIDENT: Non-Injury Traffic Collision
LOCATION: SR-62 / Lear Avenue, Twentynine Palms
DRIVER: Raymond Eckersall, 68-years-old, Resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Friday, June 23, 2023, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Morongo Basin Station, received a call for service regarding a traffic collision that occurred near the intersection of SR-62 and Lear Avenue.
A 68-year-old Twentynine Palms resident, Raymond Eckersall, was driving east on SR-62. Eckersall attempted to turn north onto Lear Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle, and collided with a pole. Eckersall did not receive any injuries.
