* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following county, Union.
* WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 131 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plainfield, Summit, Clark, Union, Westfield, Rahway, Scotch Plains, Cranford, Hillside, Roselle, Roselle Park, Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Kenilworth, Fanwood, Mountainside, Garwood and Springfield. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
