* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northern New Jersey...including the following counties...Middlesex, Morris, and Somerset.
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly across portions of the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Somerville, Madison, Middlesex, Bound Brook, Manville, Far Hills, Millington, Martinsville, Basking Ridge, Society Hill, Colonia, and South Plainfield. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 33 and 42. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 3 and 18...and between mile markers 25 and 33.
