* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in northeast New Jersey, Essex, Hudson and Union. In southeast New York, Richmond (Staten Island).
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1258 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to scattered thunderstorms overspreading the area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen across portions of the area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
