AVOID Jackson Avenue from Route 23 going east into Wayne Township on Thursday, June 29th. 
Pequannock Twp. Police Dept. advises you to AVOID Jackson Ave. going east from Route 23 into Wayne Twp. The road will be closed to thru-traffic for milling and paving starting at 7:00am and lasting into the evening. The shopping center at 500 Route 23 (Stop and Shop, Home Goods, etc.), the 7-11, and the shopping center at 560 Route 23 (Dunkin’ Donuts, PM Pediatrics, etc.) will be accessible from Route 23 North only. Traffic will still flow west from Wayne Twp. Police will be on scene to assist with accessing the TD Bank on Jackson Ave. Detours will be posted for traffic heading eastbound into Wayne. Please plan an alternate route and drive safely.
