Medford Township will begin a new Brush Collection Program starting in July, 2023. This trial program will run for six months and run through December, 2023. Brush will be collected on a monthly basis, starting on July 1st. The collection program will follow the monthly schedule below:
July, 2023:
Week of 7/3 – Zones 1 and 2 will be collected
Week of 7/10 – Zone 3 will be collected
Week of 7/17 – Zone 4 will be collected
Week of 7/24 – Zone 5 will be collected
Week of 7/31 – crews will complete any areas that may have been delayed
August, 2023:
Week of 8/7 – Zones 1 and 2 will be collected
Week of 8/14 – Zone 3 will be collected
Week of 8/21 – Zone 4 will be collected
Week of 8/28 – Zone 5 will be collected
September, 2023:
Week of 9/4 – Zones 1 and 2 will be collected
Week of 9/11 – Zone 3 will be collected
Week of 9/18 – Zone 4 will be collected
Week of 9/25 – Zone 5 will be collected
October, 2023:
Week of 10/2 – Zones 1 and 2 will be collected
Week of 10/9 – Zone 3 will be collected
Week of 10/16 – Zone 4 will be collected
Week of 10/23 – Zone 5 will be collected
Week of 10/30 – crews will complete any areas that may have been delayed
November, 2023:
Week of 11/6 – Zones 1 and 2 will be collected
Week of 11/13 – Zone 3 will be collected
Week of 11/20 – Zone 4 will be collected
Week of 11/27 – Zone 5 will be collected
December, 2023:
Week of 12/4 – Zones 1 and 2 will be collected
Week of 12/11 – Zone 3 will be collected
Week of 12/18 – Zone 4 will be collected
Week of 12/25 – Zone 5 will be collected
January, 2024:
No collections will be made in January as the program will be evaluated for continued implementation
Requirements for brush collection will remain the same, as outlined on the municipal website. All brush must be placed at the street no earlier than ten (10) days before a scheduled collection. In the fall months, brush and leaves must be separated. Brush must be at the street by 6 am on the Monday of the scheduled collection week. Each street will be collected once.
