* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central New Jersey...and northern New Jersey... including the following counties...in central New Jersey...Mercer. In northern New Jersey...Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren.
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly across portions of the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inches are possible across portions of the advised area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Morristown, Somerville, Somerset, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong, Middlesex, Princeton, and Florham Park. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 5 and 42. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 19 and 48. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 65 and 70.
