Revised Railroad Crossing Closure: South St. / Sumpter Rd. / City of Belleville 
Norfolk Southern Railroad has advised the City of Belleville that due to scheduling conflicts with repairs to area crossings, the scheduled earlier closure on Monday and Tuesday was tenatively rescheduled for Wednesday June 28th, 2023. The crossing will be closed during these repairs.
It is anticipated that the repairs will be completed Friday June 30th, 2023. The City has no control or input on railroad operations. Please make and plan alternative routes. Savage and E. Huron River Dr. crossing are now open.
