Fire Ban-Marion County Illinois

The Fire Chiefs in Marion County have come together to jointly issue a Temporary Burn Ban in the county until we get some measurable precipitation. We will evaluate this in timely fashion and update as conditions change. We strongly suggest that no one Burn as conditions are extremely dry and no precipitation is in the immediate forecast.
This includes the Centralia Fire Protection District, Sandoval Fire Protection District, Odin Fire Protection District, Patoka Fire Protection District, Kinmundy-Alma Fire Protection District, Salem Fire Protection District, Iuka Fire Protection District and the Kell Fire Protection District.
