4th of July Parade and Celebration 
On July 4, 2023, the 4th of July Parade and Celebration will take place. From approximately 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. some roadways will be closed for the parade.
The roadways impacted are:
- Hanover Avenue between South Snead Street and Thompson Street
- Duncan Street between Hanover Avenue and Cox Lane
- West Myrtle Street between Duncan and South Railroad Avenue
Roadways closed during the celebration are:
- Railroad Avenue/S. Center Street southbound from Myrtle Street to Stebbins Street
- Cox Lane will be closed during the event.
Please use caution in these areas and expect an increase of pedestrian traffic. Officers will be on scene assisting with traffic control.
