| Narrative: |
On June 27, 2023, at approximately 7:56 pm, deputies from the Camarillo Police Department responded to the intersection of Arneill Road and Fiesta Drive for a vehicle versus motorcycle traffic collision.
The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Arneill Road, approaching Fiesta Drive and collided with the vehicle traveling westbound on Fiesta Drive, within the intersection of both roads. The collision caused life threatening injuries to the motorcyclist. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, evaluated the motorcyclist, and transported him to a nearby hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The motorcyclist is currently in critical, but stable condition.
The collision is still under investigation by the Camarillo Police Department Traffic Bureau. Anyone who might have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Camarillo Police Department at (805) 388-5100.
