On Monday, June 19, 2023, Santa Maria resident, Vanessa Ruvalcaba, was reported missing to the Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) by family members.

Vanessa has since been safely located by SMPD Detectives. Detectives are in contact with both Vanessa and her family. The SMPD would like to thank the community for their assistance on this case.

Santa Maria Detective Bureau is requesting the publics assistance in locating 33-year-old Vanessa Ruvalcaba. Vanessa was reported missing on 6/19/2023 and has not been responding to family or friends via telephone or text message. Vanessa's vehicle was found parked at the Santa Maria Airport and her whereabouts are currently unknown. She is described as a Hispanic female approximately 5'04, 200 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. According to family she recently had surgery and may be without necessary medication.
