1. Resisting Arrest (1300) 600 Block of South Central Street, Civic District
Officers attempted to arrest a probationer for a warrant. The suspect resisted arrest. He was taken to a local
hospital for treatment. ARRESTED: Benny Avila, 37, for a violation of probation warrant and resisting arrest.

2. Robbery (1422) 3400 Block of East Main Street, Park District
The female victim, 65, was walking in the area when she was approached by the suspect. The suspect pulled
the purse from her shoulders and fled on foot. SUSPECT: Asian male, 25-35 years old.

3. Robbery (2130) 100 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 62, was in the area when the suspects assaulted him and stole his property before fleeing
on foot. No injuries were reported, and the victim declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Two black male
adults.

4. Resisting Arrest (0003) Alexandria Place and Cedar Ridge Circle, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a vehicle that had driven onto a footbridge. Officers located the
suspect passed out in the driver’s seat and arrested him. As the suspect was escorted to the patrol unit, he
pulled away several times and was forced to the ground. ARRESTED: Nicholas Gulli, 31, for resisting arrest
and DUI.
