On Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 9:28 AM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to 1515 Sherman Avenue, regarding a Burglary report. The reporting person indicated he caught someone inside of his residence stealing property and chased him away. The victim described the suspect to Officers, and a brief time later Officer Carrasco contacted a subject in the area who matched the description of the suspect. This subject was later identified as Eric Cole Jr. and he was positively identified by the victim and subsequently arrested. Cole was booked into the Kings County Jail for being in violation of 459(A) PC- Burglary, 594(A)(2) PC- Damage/destroy property, 484(A)PC- Theft of personal property form building. Cole’s Bail was set at $65,000.
