INCIDENT: Sex Offender Compliance Operation
LOCATION: Multiple Locations in the City of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Saturday, June 24, 2023, the Victorville Police Department and California State Parole conducted a sex offender compliance operation in the city of Victorville. Over 50 registered sex offenders were contacted during the sweep.
Deputies and Parole Agents arrested 13 registered sex offenders for various charges including failing to register as a sex offender, outstanding warrants, and parole violations. In addition, deputies submitted reports to the District Attorney’s Office for 17 subjects who failed to register as a sex offender and were unable to be located.
