State prison offender Brandon Comes Flying is back in custody.
Comes Flying was arrested in Pierre on June 29 and transported to the Hughes County Jail.
He left his community assignment in Rapid City without authorization on April 27 and failed to return to the Rapid City Minimum Center.
Failure to return to custody following an assignment constitutes second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
