Overview: Enough warm and moist air will be available through the weekend for heat indices to be in the triple digits. There is also a threat for severe weather today and Saturday.
Impacts For Calhoun County: Introduced slight risk of severe weather Saturday with damaging winds up to 60 mph and quarter size hail.

Excessive heat:
- When: Today through Monday (Ongoing Excessive Heat Warning and/or Heat Advisories will likely be extended into the weekend)
- Threats: Heat exhaustion and heat stroke

- When: 2PM to 11 PM
- Threats: Damaging winds up to 60 mph and quarter size hail
