* At 827 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Mount Vernon to near Tamaroa, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Mount Vernon, Benton, Du Quoin, Fairfield, Mcleansboro, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Wayne City, Woodlawn, Bluford, Valier, West City, Tamaroa, Thompsonville, Ina, North City, Dahlgren, Buckner and Waltonville.
