Press Release: Fairfield Police Arrest Fairfield Man for Homicide 
Update -- July 2, 2023
Detectives have arrested 27-year-old Fairfield resident Alexis Burke, for homicide in relation to this case. The identity of the victim is still being withheld, pending notification of family.

Last night, at around 1:25 am, Fairfield Police officers were dispatched to a motel in the 2100 Block of North Texas Street, following a report that a woman was possibly dying in a room.
Upon arrival, officers unfortunately located the victim, a 25-year-old woman from Fairfield, deceased. The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
The victim’s death is being investigated as suspicious by detectives from the Investigations Bureau, and anyone with information is asked to call Fairfield Police at (707)428-7300.
Because this is an active investigation, no additional information will be released at this time.
