Novato's Annual 4th of July Parade returns today, July 4^th, 2023 at 10am on Grant Ave. The parade will begin on Grant Ave at Reichert Ave and end at 7th St and Grant Ave. Some or all of following streets will be closed to all traffic, except residents, from approximately 8am to 1pm on Tuesday, July 4, 2023:

• Grant Ave from Railroad Ave to 7th St
• Vallejo Ave from Redwood Blvd to Machin Ave
• Machin Ave from Vallejo Ave to Sweetser Ave
• Sweetser Ave from Machin Ave to Reichert Ave
• Reichert Ave from DeLong Ave to Sweetser Ave
• Railroad Ave at Olive Ave 
• Scott Ct
• Sherman Ave
• Blodget Ln

If you are not planning to attend the parade, please avoid this area and use alternate routes if possible. Traffic will be diverted from Redwood Blvd onto DeLong Ave and Vallejo Ave. 

These closures are necessary to allow for the safe assembly and passage of parade participants. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
