1. Person Shot (0040) 1200 Block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard, Park District
The male victim, 34, was in the area when he got into an argument with four subiects. During the argument the suspect brandished a firearm and shot the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: A Hispanic male adult.
2. Resisting Arrest (0352) 00 Block of East Castle Street, Civic District
After being arrested, the suspect began kicking the back windows of the patrol car. Officers removed the suspect from the vehicle and placed him in a Safe Wrap device to prevent him from hurting himself or damaging the patrol car. ARRESTED: Willie Billy, 44, for domestic violence, vandalism, and resisting arrest.
