* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Essex and Union.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 203 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plainfield, Linden, Orange, Summit, Millburn, Clark, Union, East Orange, Irvington, West Orange, Westfield, Livingston, Rahway, Maplewood, Scotch Plains, Cranford, Hillside, Roselle, South Orange and Roselle Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
