* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northern Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Mercer County in central New Jersey... Northeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Southern Monmouth County in central New Jersey... South central Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 351 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from West Freehold to near Six Flags Theme Park to Florence, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Toms River, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, Manalapan, Tinton Falls, Florence, Beachwood, Mount Holly, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Bordentown, Presidential Lakes Estates, Lakehurst, Allentown, Pemberton, Farmingdale, Roosevelt, Wrightstown and Allenwood. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 6 and 8. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 7 and 34. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 50 and 57. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 80 and 102.

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
