* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West central Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Camden County in southern New Jersey... North central Gloucester County in southern New Jersey... Burlington County in southern New Jersey... East central Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 458 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Presidential Lakes to Pemberton to near Golden Triangle, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Philadelphia, Camden, Gloucester City, Cherry Hill, Evesham, Mount Laurel, Deptford, Voorhees, Medford, Lindenwold, Lumberton, Bellmawr, Woodbury, Mount Holly, Berlin, Palmyra, Tabernacle, Shamong, Magnolia and Westville. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 3 and 5. Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania near mile marker 28. Interstate 76 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 2. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 24 and 46. Interstate 676 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 1. Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 43 and 44.

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
