* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Jefferson County in northeastern Kansas... East central Geary County in east central Kansas... Southeastern Riley County in northeastern Kansas... Shawnee County in east central Kansas... Northwestern Douglas County in east central Kansas... Central Wabaunsee County in east central Kansas... Northeastern Osage County in east central Kansas... Pottawatomie County in northeastern Kansas... Nemaha County in northeastern Kansas... Jackson County in northeastern Kansas... Brown County in northeastern Kansas...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1042 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles southeast of Oregon to near Muscotah to near Alma, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Topeka, northwestern Lawrence, Manhattan, Junction City, Wamego, Holton, Hiawatha, Sabetha, Seneca, Horton, Carbondale, Valley Falls, Rossville, Oskaloosa, Alma, Westmoreland, Tecumseh, St. Marys, Richland and Ogden. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 300 and 355. Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 164 and 202.
