* At 1057 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 4 miles southeast of Alma to 5 miles northeast of Council Grove Lake to near Burdick, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Emporia, Osage City, Herington, Council Grove, Carbondale, Eskridge, Overbrook, Lyndon, Burlingame, Americus, Scranton, White City, Alta Vista, Hope, Dwight, Harveyville, Reading, Allen, Woodbine and Admire.
