Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Friday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau, North Central Mountains, and Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley Friday afternoon and early evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...West 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph, except up to 50 mph in the mountains near the Colorado border.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...9 to 20 percent with the highest humidities above 8000 feet.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST PLATEAU ... NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND LOWER CHAMA RIVER VALLEY
