According to the Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections (DCC), John R. Berg JR., 29, will be moving to 618 S. Jackson Street., Janesville, WI on July 11, 2023.  Berg was convicted of 3^rd degree sexual assault, exposing a child to harmful materials, and sex with a child age 16 or older on May 13, 2014.  Berg cannot have unsupervised contact with minors, contact the victims, or consume drugs.  He must comply with all sex offender rules and cooperate with electronic monitoring.  He must also have face-to-face contact with law enforcement, comply with all requirements, and is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.  Notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.
