INCIDENT: PC 664/187 - Attempted Murder

SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old Male Juvenile, Resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): 15-year-old Male Juvenile, Resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a stabbing in the 6400 block of Desert Queen Avenue in the City of Twentynine Palms.
As deputies arrived, a male juvenile was found with a large stab wound to his upper chest. Deputies learned the suspect fled the scene. The victim was transported to the Desert Regional Medical Center for further medical attention.
During the investigation, a suspect was identified, along with a known location. On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Morongo Basin Detective Bureau contacted the suspect at his residence in Twentynine Palms and placed him under arrest. The suspect was transported to the Central Juvenile Hall where he was booked for attempted murder charges.
