The Oakland Police Department (OPD) continues to see a spike in robberies of individuals at ATMs citywide.
In several recent cases, the victim was approached by an armed individual(s) and robbed of their belongings after an ATM transaction. The armed individual(s) were seen leaving the area in a waiting vehicle.
The robberies have occurred in several neighborhoods including, Uptown, Fruitvale, Chinatown, and Montclair.
